##### **TRANSLACORE is delighted to announce a 3-day Summer School scheduled to take place from September 11th to 13th, 2024, in the beautiful city of Milan, Italy.**

This 3 day event includes key-note lectures from leading scientists with relevant expertise, mixed with informal lectures held by participants, in order to discuss in a constructive way ongoing projects and results. In addition, topic-specific round tables will center on the state-of-the art of the tumor microenvironment from all perspectives.

Objective: Increase awareness on the study of translational control in primary human cells; multidisciplinary approaches; building an interaction network of the next generation of translacore researchers

Speakers: Monica Wolkers (Sanquin Institute, Amsterdam, Netherlands); Martin Bushell (Beatson Cancer Institute, Glasgow, UK); Sara Ricciardi (INGM, Milan, Italy); Roger Geiger (IRB, Bellinzona, Switzerland); Raul Mendez (IRB, Barcelona, Spain); Alan Warren (MRC, Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, Cambridge, UK).

Audience: the event is dedicated to postdoctoral fellows and Ph.D. students. All participants are invited to take actively part to the venue by presenting their work and freely discuss with colleagues and speakers.
