- The **TRANSLACORE** under the EU-Cost action was established with the objectives to develop a European network of excellence to advance an emerging field in cancer biology: translational control in cancer. The main intention is to reconsider our view of gene expression control on the translational level in the cancer disease and deliver novel therapeutic opportunities.

- The **TRANSLACORE** has the potential to provide innovative strategies and therapeutic avenues improving the management and health outcomes for patients with cancer. Advancing the frontiers of human knowledge in translational control is likely to contribute to uncovering the cancer's Achille's heel and to accelerate development of therapeutic approaches allowing a precision modulation of translational machinery in cancer.


TRANSLACORE EU-Cost action aims to develop a European network of excellence to foster basic research on mRNA translation in cancer in order to seek for novel therapeutic avenues based on this central biological process and accelerate personalized medicine.
