- “Neuro immune Biomarkers in Chronic Inflammatory Diseases: From Bench to Bedside" **Eirini (Irene) Tsilioni**, PhD. Research Assistant Professor, Department of Immunology, Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, USA.

**Intro to the topic:**

Eirini (Irene) Tsilioni is a neuroimmunologist with more than 15 years of experience in human biofluids research, clinical chemistry and the study of neuroinflammatory diseases such as ASD, ME/CFS, Long-COVID and Alzheimer’s disease. Her work integrates molecular, cell-based and exosome approaches to identify biomarkers and develop novel neurotherapeutics, supported by NIH and industry funding and reflected in her 70 peer-reviewed publications (h-index 32). With a strong foundation in immunopharmacology, a proven record of mentoring and a collaborative mindset, she is dedicated to advancing research in neuroinflammation and neuroimmunology to drive new therapeutic strategies for complex neurological diseases.
