<u>The following selection criteria apply to new members willing to join the TRANSLACORE Cost Action
CA21154 :</u>

- The activity or research of the applicant must contribute to the Action’s aims and objectives :
therefore in the Motivation and Contribution sections the applicant must clearly explain how
she/he will fit with the general objectives of TRANSLACORE
- The applicant has to indicate clearly to which laboratoty and/or institutes she/he belongs
- The applicant must show how the Action will also benefit himself
- The expertise of the applicant should be aligned with at least one of the 5 Working Groups
o WG 1. Scientific and technological developments and harmonization procedures
o WG 2. Clinical samples/cohorts coordination and ethics
o WG 3. Bioinformatics and big data management
o WG 4. Dissemination, sharing of knowledge and know-how, to the civil society
o WG 5. Education
- A few key words must appear and be related to the Action such as : Translational control / RNA
biology / Therapeutic RNA / Cancer biology / Ribosome / Epitranscriptomics / Patient
organization
- If possible, the applicant should bring diversity and interdisciplinarity to the network.

Areas of Expertise Relevant for the Action
- Biological sciences : Protein synthesis, modification and turnover
- Biological sciences: RNA synthesis, processing, modification and degradation
- Biological sciences: Proteomics

The application will be assessed by the **Action Chair** (Jean-Jacques DIAZ) and either approved or rejected within a maximum of 3 months.
