 Establish research collaborations between institutions to apply state-of-the-art technologies to advance the understanding of translational control in gene expression, including but not limited to sequencing-based technologies (e.g. Riboseq, Me-RIP), direct RNA sequencing (Nanopore), mass spectrometry (e.g. RNA mass spectrometry), integrated structural biology (cryo-EM, NMR spectroscopy), bioinformatics (e.g. machine learning), histopathology (e.g. multiplex assays, automated imaging platforms), and advanced light imaging.
 
Facilitate collaboration between existing networks in the field of translational control of gene expression (national registries).

Support the next generation of experts in the field of translational control in gene expression through the participation of early career researchers from across Europe in specialized Training Schools and Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs).

Enhance capacity building within the patient community through the dissemination of Action progress and results.

Accelerate translational and clinical cancer applications of the new knowledge acquired during the Action by enhancing collaboration between scientists, patient organisations and industrial stakeholders.

Our Actions help connect research initiatives across Europe and enable scientists to grow their ideas by sharing them with their peers. This boosts their research, career and innovation. (www.cost.eu) | The TRANSLACORE Cost Action is bridging disciplines and expertise across Europe in order to advance an emerging field in cancer biology: translational control in cancer. It is providing a unique opportunity to understand this biological process leading to reconsider our view of gene expression control in this disease and deliver novel therapeutic opportunities.
